Meet your own personal AI Agent, for everything…Proxy
Imagine if you had a digital clone to do your tasks for you. Well, meet Proxy…
Last week, Convergence, the London based AI start-up revealed Proxy to the world, the first general AI Agent.
Users are asking things like “Book my trip to Paris and find a restaurant suitable for an interview” or “Order a grocery delivery for me with a custom weekly meal plan”.
You can train it how you choose, so all Proxy’s are different, and personalised to how you teach it. The more you teach it, the more it learns about your personal work flows and begins to automate them.

Meta Expands AI Access to U.S. Defense Contractors
Meta has announced a significant move, allowing U.S. defense contractors and government agencies to utilize its advanced AI models, Llama, in a bid to bolster military and national security applications.
Key Points:
Meta’s Llama models are now accessible to over a dozen U.S. defense agencies and contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Palantir.
Besides the U.S., Meta is extending Llama access to defense contractors in allied countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, within the framework of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance.
Llama’s capabilities could aid in defense tasks like data synthesis, cyber defense, and monitoring financial flows linked to terrorism, showcasing the versatility of large language models in security settings.
By making Llama available to the U.S. public sector, Meta aims to counterbalance AI advancements from adversarial nations and reinforce its technology’s presence in national security.
Meta's decision underscores a dual aim: to reinforce democratic values through U.S.-aligned AI use and to position Llama as a leading platform in both private and government sectors globally.
Disney Launches New Unit to Drive AI and Mixed Reality Innovations
Walt Disney has established the Office of Technology Enablement, a new division designed to align the company’s efforts in artificial intelligence (AI) and mixed reality across film, TV, and theme parks. Led by Jamie Voris, Disney’s former CTO of the film studio, this unit aims to harness AI and extended reality (XR) to enhance consumer experiences and support creative projects. According to Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman, this move reflects Disney’s commitment to exploring opportunities and mitigating risks in these rapidly advancing technologies. Rather than centralizing development, the unit will coordinate AI and XR initiatives company-wide, starting with a leadership team and plans to expand to about 100 employees.
